THE UNDERSTANDING PARENTS PROJECT
THE STUDY
We are looking for parents to be interviewed about their ideas and experiences.
Who can Participate?
To participate you must meet the following qualifications.

Must have at least 1 Child under 13 years old

Must speak and understand English
-
Must reside with the child's other parent

Both parents of a child are strongly encouraged to participate in the study!!
What will I do?
Its totally easy!! You sit down and talk to a researcher for about 60-90 minutes ...yep, thats it!
All interviews will be completely confidential and will be recorded and stored at the University of Maine.
What do I get?
Three participants will be selected at random to win a $25 gift card from Wal-mart!

If both parents of a child participate in the study, each participant gets an extra shot at the gift card!

Not too bad for a 1 hour interview!
Where does this interview occur?
The interview will occur at a location that is most convenient to you. We have 3 options for meeting.
1. We can meet at Merrill Hall on UMaine's Campus.
2. We can meet in a private location of your choosing. (your home or office)
3. We can meet virtually. (like Skype or FaceTime)
